The Independent Women's Football League (IWFL) and USA Football, the sport's national governing body on youth and amateur levels, have forged a partnership to further promote the sport and its immense popularity among female athletes.
All USA Football women's national teams for International Federation of American Football (IFAF) women's competitions will comprise entirely of IWFL athletes. In addition, the IWFL has named USA Football as the league's Official Education Partner and will provide USA Football membership to all IWFL coaches and officials. USA Football conducts more than 100 training events annually on youth and amateur levels. In the past two years, USA Football has helped train more than 16,000 football coaches in all 50 states.
This football partnership also will further strengthen girls' participation in America's favorite sport. The IWFL will establish an "IWFL J' League" in the coming year. This all-girls youth league will offer more youngsters the opportunity to further their participation in America's favorite sport within the IWFL's 44 markets in the United States and Canada.

Message: Hi Intensity:
Love Jess' posting. We will meet the Sharks head on in slug fest - the best smash mouth women's football has to offer. Let's make it a real war.
Ladies, you have a great opportunity to beat the team that may be the IWFL champions. Regardless of the outcome of Saturday's game, the Sharks will know they played a tough and courageous team. While NY
may have some talented players, I know we can be just as tough and meaner. This game is where you find out who you are and how much more you have to give. This is the kind of opportunity
that doesn't come along often in sports - enjoy it - conquer the moment - rise to the occasion - savor every play -bring your game a new level -sacriface your body - be mindfu

Message: I know its the morning after and some of us are waking up with pain, bumps, and major bruises all throughout their bodies, but we played with injuries and played a clean hell of a game. I just wanted to say great job ladies and especially to those who stepped it up and played positions that they usually don't, and to those who got into the game and gave it their all, especially in the last 5 minutes of the game. ALL of our players took pride in playing their positions, and I can't wait to play NY. Ang, Brandy, Precourt, and all others injured, I wish you all a speedy recovery, and I mean SPEEDY because we need everyone for this Saturday's game. See everyone at practice on Tuesday, Im off to ice everything -
much love to everyone -<br

Message: Dear Intensity Sisters,
Whatever you do, don't look at the game against the Blitz & get mad, get smart. You have a game against them this weekend & you will do much more mental harm on them if you stay focused! You are better than what they want you to be, better then any team wants you to be! That is why they played the way that they did. It isn't fair but unfortunately that is life. Be the better team, be the better people! Only you can play your game. It is their job to get you off it. DON'T LET THEM! Stay focused, keep your head up & hit them hard. Let them know that what happened last week was a fluke & won't happen again. Let it be a warning to any other team that tries it. Remember, play smart, play safe, play it like it was me

Message: Hi there Sisters. I just read about your lose on your messageboard. It sounded like it was a pretty bad game. Just always remember that playing your pro level of footbal will always be better than how some other teams play. When you look in the mirror and how you feel about yourself is what counts. Now go out this weekend with your best game face on and whoop some butt. But only play your kind of football not theirs and you will prevail. Trust me it will make you STRONGER!!! Rock On!!!!!

even be on the same field as us.
Let's win this damn game, for what happened this weekend, for the other teams they have disrespected the way they disrespected us, and for the IWFL.
NOONE DISRESPECTS US IN OUR HOUSE!!!!
Bring it on. I expect a hard fought, sportsmanlike game played fairly by all of you. They took our minds out of the game by all of the nonsense they created. They play is over, forget about it, focus. They won't be able to focus like we will if we do that and don't get worked up by what they are doing.
To hell with that crap. Noone disrespects us in our house. The End.
I love all of you.

We are going to stick together and not engage in that behavior. We will have officials who use IWFL rules and we will have a regulation field. The behavior we faces this weekend won't be tolerated. They will probably end up having 3 people on the field because I think if anyone looks at us the wrong way they will be thrown out of the game.
The coach from the Blitz, at the end of the game yelled " YOU AREN'T UNDEFEATED NOW ARE YOU!" Well, buddy, YES we are. In my mind we are because there was nothing regulation about that game.
We are mentally stronger than this team. Playing that way, using strategy like that only means that they know they can't win fairly, that they aren't strong enough to eve

Message: To my Intensity family. Remember that, we are family. No matter what happens off the field, on that field we play together, like we are sisters. This is a huge advantage we have on other teams. When we play this way, noone can stop us.
This weekend I was disheartened. I don't consider that a loss and I'm not down because we didn't have more points because that wasn't a game. That team doesn't deserve the honor of being in the IWFL. Our team has earned that honor and the respect of the teams we play, because we play fairly, by the rules and with sportsmanship. I was heart broken to see my teammates and my friends who were intentionally injured. That's not going to happen this weekend. We are going to stick together and not engage

Message: Intensity,
I want to thank you all for your dedication and hard work this season. Though it is always hard to forget the past, we must learn from it and move on. We now know how it feels to win and to lose. Just remember that we are a team and there is no one person to blame. Pointing fingers will get us nowhere fast, but accepting each others differences and respecting one another will only make us stronger as individuals and as a team. We know what we are capable of as a unit, so lets show everyone what the Intensity is all about. Play harder and smarter than ever before and we will be victorious. Most importantly, leave it all on the field. "There's nothing like regret to remind you that you're alive." 1 love!
